Led Zeppelin
£10.00 Get tickets » Bringing the music of Led Zeppelin in performance to new generations of concert goers , Letz Zep will be performing songs from the entire Led Zeppelin back catalogue at the Chichester Inn. , Both Jimmy Page and Robert Plant have attended gigs by Letz Zep, and we're suitably impressed, so much so that they invited Letz Zep to perform at their prestigious official launch party for Led Zeppelin's 'Mothership' CD, In Soho, London. After he came to a Letz Zep concert legendary Zep front man Robert Plant commented it was like watching himself onstage, after he came to a Letz Zep concert. His comment in Q Magazine in an interview was ‘ I walked in and saw me!’ Letz Zep have also been reviewed in The Sunday Times by Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson. He said of the band - "If you closed your eyes you really could imagine that it was Plant and Page up there. And if you opened them again the illusion didn't really go away' |

Tom Walker Trio
12.50 Get tickets » Tom Walker has been honing his guitar playing from a very young age, earning respect and admiration from music lovers and musicians across the globe. Now at the age of 22 he is now driving British blues to new levels from the heart of the UK with Tom Walker Trio. They have toured with the likes of The Move, Paul Jones (The Blues band, Manfred man), John Lodge (The Moody Blues) and Devon Allman to name a few. Tom has worked with producer Richard Digby Smith (Free, Reef and Led Zeppelin) on recording the trio's first record. Following the release Tom travelled to Austin Texas to play a string of shows over in the USA. With great success including radio play with The Paul Franks Show (BBC Radio WM) and Paul Jones Blues Show (BBC RADIO 2). I think Tom Walker definitely has something Paul Jones (BBC Radio 2) And its probably the voice thats the trios secret weapon: a fine black silk and sandpaper soul instrument that can do powerful baritone up to a smooth falsetto. Blues in Britain www.rootsaroundtheworld.com |
