£15.00 Get tickets » Robbie McIntosh is a legend in the world of music; he’s played with the biggest names at the biggest gigs. He was a member of The Pretenders from 1982 to 1987 appearing at Live Aid and spent six years as McCartney’s lead guitarist, recording five albums and touring the world twice. Robbie also won a huge following for his year-long world tour with Norah Jones and the four years he spent recording and touring with John Mayer with whom he also appeared at the Live 8 concert. He has worked with pretty much everyone in the business, but it was not until 30 years after Robbie started playing guitar that he found time to make his own album with his own band releasing the acclaimed Emotional Bends in 1999 and Wide Screen in 2001. 2014 saw the release of Robbie’s third songbook trilogy - ‘Turn Up For the Books’ receiving 5-star critical acclaim from the music press. www.rootsaroundtheworld.com |

Get Moore
£5 on the door Get Moore is a band of experienced musicians playing the music of Gary Moore. Moore covered a lot of ground from his early days with jazz fusion band Colisseum II to rock and Celtic rock with Thin Lizzy. However, he is best known for his seminal blues-rock album released in 1990, Still Got the Blues for You, that made him known to a different public. Numbers like King of the Blues, Still Got the Blues for You, Parisienne Walkways, All Your Love, A Cold Day in Hell, Midnight Blues all became instant classics. In the early 1990s, he joined up with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker and played many of the original Cream numbers, including Badge, Crossroads, Sitting on Top of the World, White Room, Sunshine of Your Love and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Get Moore has played as a Gary Moore tribute band on several occasions, including The Ranelagh, The Brunswick and The Neptune (all in Brighton), and well known venues such as Mr Kyps in Poole where we supported veteran blues band The Producers and rocker Larry Miller.
