LETZ ZEP have gained a well-earned reputation as the UK’s premier Led Zeppelin performers.
During 2017 Letz Zep are taking a powerful new show entitled LETZ ZEP ACOUSTIC to smaller venues around the country.
On Saturday 25th February the LETZ ZEP ACOUSTIC show hits Chichester for a one-off performance at the Chichester Inn.
Back in 1975, Led Zeppelin performed a series of legendary shows at Earls Court. The highlight for many fans was the stripped down acoustic set performed by Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and Jones. The acoustic interlude was a wonderful counterpoint to the electric mayhem of the main show.
Many of Zeppelin’s finest moments were created for acoustic instrumentation, but Led Zeppelin themselves were so taken with the acoustic set that, later on each evening, the band took the stage at the Troubadour Club and played an impromptu acoustic set featuring Zeppelin classics. Familiar favourites such as Kashmir and Stairway to Heaven which were normally associated with electric guitar were all given the acoustic treatment and the results were spellbinding.
Forty years later the magic of Led Zeppelin in acoustic mode is revisited as LETZ ZEP, the UK’s leading Led Zeppelin tribute band, perform an intimate unplugged show featuring the Zeppelin acoustic classic such as Tangerine and Going To California as well as electric Zeppelin masterpieces such as Dazed And Confused, Since I’ve Been loving You and Ramble On all stripped down for acoustic guitar and mandolin.
LETZ ZEP perform all over Europe, UK and indeed the rest of the world to packed houses and rave reviews, at some of the worlds biggest stages, including the Congress Hall, Moscow and the prestigious L’Olympia Paris.
It’s a very exciting prospect and to bringing the acoustic show on the road to Chichester. The Chichester Inn gig is the ideal the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the greatest rock songs ever written, performed by one of the best live bands on the circuit today. Letz Zep feature renowned vocalist Billy Kulke, of whom Robert Plant said it was like watching himself onstage, ‘I walked in, I saw me’ was his comment. Billy is joined by guitarist Andy Gray, described by Jimmy Page as one ‘Cool man’.
This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the band in a small local venue. For this unique performance Letz Zep are joined on stage by Sylvia Perett, from the band Wild-Heart.
